A beautiful painting from wildlife artist Frances Fry.
Signed by the artist
This painting will need to be framed

Frances Fry was a leading wildlife artist and illustrator, well known
for her works published as greetings cards and calendars. She also wrote
and illustrated “The Colour Guide to British Birds and Their Eggs” (Nimrod Press 1990( and provided illustrations for several books on birds. Additionally she wrote various articles on nature and animals as well as the “Country Diary” column for the “The West Somerset Gazette”. She lived in the West Country and was fond of rambling across the wild and beautiful country side of Exmoor which provided boundless inspiration for her paintings. A keen
animal lover and conservationist, she had a wildlife orientated garden long before such things became fashionable, because there was never enough time to keep it neat and tidy. Despite this admission she listed gardening as one of her hobbies, together with photography and listening to classical music. For her, bird bird and animal watching proved work and pleasure
combined
